This unit covers the skills and knowledge to operate a grader on civil construction sites, including forming and maintaining roads, drains and batters, and relocating the machine between work areas. This unit alone does not provide sufficient skill to independently load and unload equipment; RIIHAN308F Load and unload plant or equivalent is also required for that task.
Assessment is competency-based and combines theory with practical demonstration.
